I admit I go on Mediatakeout.com from time to time.. and laugh at there ignorance and false stories of who's pregnant by whom and what bump so and so has on their lip... but umm they are supposedly the gossip outlet for black community , but um who ever runs this can't be a person of color..I'm convinced some of their stories are straight prejudiced and racist to me.. the way they post top stories and headlines, I don't know.. its just craziness.. they have a story on there now about Raven Simone and some nude pix.. convenient after she was on black girls rock right.. who runs this site.. at least with  TMZ.com I don't get that self sabotaging vibe..

Black Girls Rock (Quick break down)

I was really impressed by how BET put together Black Girls Rock last night, if they re-air it which I'm pretty sure knowing BET they will a couple of times i highly suggest it even if you are not a black woman people in general would have enjoyed this night of honoring and support.

It all started as a T-Shirt but Ms. Beverly Bond has created something very special in the black community for not only young girls but women to be inspired by and I'm glad that BET not only picked up on this but also did right by it.  Kudos

I missed the first 20 or 30 min. but with the exception of Keyshia Cole having a bit of a rough performance the whole night was very inspirational, Everyone looked great from Free to , Kim Whitley, to the incomparable Ruby Dee (who stole the show with her beauty, humbleness and poetic words for all of us out there).

My favorite  performances of the night were
*Monica's (which home girl has always been one of my favs, I don't know why i slacked on the album)
*Marsia Ambrosia, Ledisi, Jill Scott, and Kelly Price (4 women)

Raven presenting the  "Who Got Next" award to Keke Palmer (beautiful young girl)
